Raw Jute

It is 100% biodegradable and has the lowest possible environmental impact.

We treat our Raw Jute with Vegetable Starch during production to ensure it looks and feels great when made up into a bag. The starch stiffens the fabric and you end up with a slightly more 'structured' feel to the fabric.

Laminated Jute

Laminated Jute looks exactly like Raw Jute on the outside and has an additional thin layer of Polypropylene (PP) applied to the inside to stiffen and protect the natural fibres. The lamination creates a structured, solid, long-lasting bag.
